Get to Know Joshua A. Matonak, DMD
Dr. Joshua A. Matonak was born and raised north of Pittsburgh in Butler, PA. In 2006, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. After completing his undergraduate education, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pittsburgh in 2011. It was during his dental school education that he discovered his love for oral and maxillofacial surgery. He completed an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and then went on to complete his residency at West Virginia University. He has had extensive training in the removal of impacted teeth, dental implant surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, facial trauma, oral and maxillofacial pathology, reconstructive surgery, corrective jaw surgery, and the safe delivery of general anesthesia.
Dr. Matonak is a board-certified oral surgeon here in Lancaster, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
